About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Neurology team as an NVQ Apprentice in Administration. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Neurology team, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of patient notes and other documents.
  • Respond to telephone calls and emails from patients, GPs, and other agencies, using initiative and adhering to Trust guidelines.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including opening and distributing post, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Support the Medical Secretaries with tasks such as transcribing letters and booking clinics.
Person Specification
  • Demonstrable experience working with people and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to demonstrate fluency, clarity, and effectiveness at all levels.
  • Good time management skills and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to undertake further training and development.
