Job Description

The Clinical Site Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective delivery of services during overnight and weekend periods.

This supernumerary position offers the opportunity to be based on a ward/unit, dependent on clinical and operational need.

You will be responsible for implementing high standards of care delivery, ensuring the service provided is needs-led, compliant with national guidance, and viewed positively by service users.

The ideal candidate will possess leadership experience at Band 6 in an inpatient setting, along with detailed knowledge of The Mental Health Act 1983 as amended in 2007 and its associated policy requirements.

Possessing a working knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Procedure, the successful candidate will provide advice and guidance on their relevant implementation.

In addition to excellent communication skills, you will have the ability to manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary meetings, conduct specialist assessments, and demonstrate an understanding of recovery principles.
