This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Community Children & Young People's Mental Health Service (CYPMHS) Wirral.

">About the Job

As a Band 5 Mental Health Worker, you will be part of the CAMHS 0-18 Team, working directly with young people and their families. Your role will involve providing direct therapeutic interventions, information, advice, and guidance through consultation and organizing therapeutic groups.

This is a short contract to cover a temporary vacancy and would suit a newly or recently qualified applicant looking to broaden their experience in a children and young people's mental health service setting.

You will have:

  • A high level of enthusiasm and dedication to providing quality community-based mental health services to children, young people, and their families.
  • Experience of working with children and young people who present with clinical risk due to their mental and emotional health needs.
  • Access to transport or the ability to travel to various venues as part of your working day.
