**Job Overview**
We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Worker to join our Community Children & Young People's Mental Health Service (CYPMHS) in Wirral. This is an exciting opportunity to provide quality community-based mental health services to children, young people, and their families.
This short-term contract, lasting only until the position is filled permanently, suits newly or recently qualified applicants looking to broaden their experience in a children and young people's mental health service setting.

This role requires a Qualified Mental Health Worker with professional registration with a recognized National Body (HCPC, NMC, Social Work England). A degree in Psychology or other mental health-related field is desirable. Key qualifications include knowledge of child psychology and development, understanding of anxiety and depression in young people, and familiarity with safeguarding legislation. The successful candidate must also have experience in safeguarding vulnerable individuals and working within a mental health and/or children and young people's setting.
**Salary and Benefits:**
The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £33,000 per annum. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a comprehensive induction program, opportunities for career development, and a supportive team environment.
