Job Title: Health and Safety Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Health and Safety Administrator to join our team at The Pirbright Institute. As a key member of our Risk and Assurance directorate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Institute's health, safety, and biosafety functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage the Institute's health, safety, and biosafety activities, including monitoring and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide administrative support to the HSBS team, including managing the asset bank, coordinating training, and maintaining document management systems.
  • Act as a liaison between the HSBS team and other departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of health, safety, and biosafety policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and safety performance indicators (SPIs) for various monitoring programs.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a health, safety, and/or biosafety function.
  • Strong administrative skills, including Microsoft Office software proficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
