Care for Others as a Volunteer HCA

Are you passionate about providing exceptional patient care? Do you want to make a difference in your local community? Join our team as a volunteer HCA and become part of our community care team at St Elizabeth Hospice.

You will be responsible for supporting our patients with their physical care needs, including personal care, toileting needs, eating and drinking, mobilisation, and maintaining comfort. All care will be carried out under the supervision of a registered nurse or allied health professional.

We offer a comprehensive training program to ensure you feel confident and prepared for this role. You will also be entitled to claim expenses and mileage incurred whilst carrying out your duties.

About the Role:

  • Support patients with their physical care needs
  • Work collaboratively with our community care team to achieve excellent patient outcomes

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £24,000 - £32,000 per annum
