Advanced Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Occupational Therapist to join our team at London Bridge Hospital, a centre of excellence for specialist cancer treatments and robotic surgeries. As an Advanced Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of clients with complex needs, providing comprehensive initial and ongoing assessments.
  • Participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of OT services within a designated area, holding responsibility for defined projects.
  • Plan and implement treatment using a goal planning system within the interdisciplinary team.
  • Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and concise treatment records detailing individual patient treatment plans and progress.
  • Provide leadership for junior staff through supervision and appraisal.
Requirements:
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or due to be completed.
  • Passed English exam test or exempted from this.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience within an oncology setting.
  • Continuous professional development in the field.
  • Experience in providing teaching to colleagues.
