Specialist Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Nurse Practitioner to join our Oxford Endocrine Nursing Team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and expertise in endocrine nursing.
Main Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with endocrine conditions.
- Offer counselling and support to patients attending the unit.
- Develop and maintain expertise in venepuncture and intravenous cannulation.
- Anticipate and respond to emergency situations, working collaboratively with medical staff as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with specialized endocrine tests and provide advisory services to patients.

Requirements- First degree in nursing, midwifery, or equivalent.
- Demonstrable post-graduate level working experience.
- Knowledge of key professional issues and NMC guidelines.
- Basic knowledge of inpatient diabetes care, outpatient diabetes care, and diabetes technologies.
