Cardiology Specialist Advanced Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiology Specialist Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with heart failure.
Main Responsibilities:- Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based care pathways for heart failure patients.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients, including education, support, and advocacy.
- Assess and manage patients with heart failure, including identifying and addressing any psychosocial needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Registered nurse with a first degree in nursing or midwifery.
- Postgraduate level working experience in cardiology or a related field.
- Relevant specialist post-basic program and evidence of continuing professional development.
- Completed or working towards a Master's level qualification.
- Up-to-date knowledge of cardiology and heart failure management.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
