About the Role:


We are seeking a highly skilled PI Buyer to join our dynamic team at Nupharm. As a key player in our sourcing efforts, you will be responsible for negotiating and purchasing branded medicines from approved suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and stock criteria are met.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Dynamic Supplier Relations: Manage and support relationships with suppliers through various communication channels, including face-to-face meetings and site visits.
  • Strategic Negotiation: Negotiate and purchase from approved suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and stock criteria are met.
  • Research and Development: Actively seek out and research new products, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure all purchasing activities adhere to current procedures, with a focus on system housekeeping and administrative excellence.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to resolve stock queries, manage missed sales, and support site-specific requirements.

About You:


We are looking for a motivated and experienced buyer with a passion for all aspects of trading. You will be a confident and engaging communicator able to work independently and as part of a team. Advanced skills in Excel are crucial for managing complex data and reports effectively. A degree in a relevant discipline, while desirable, is complemented by your practical experience in purchasing and supplier management. Your understanding of community pharmacy operations will be a distinct advantage.
