Pharmacy Clinical Trials (Health Science) Associate Practitioner

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Clinical Trials Pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Clinical Trials (Health Science) Associate Practitioner. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of clinical trials across our trust sites.

Main Duties

As a Pharmacy Clinical Trials (Health Science) Associate Practitioner, you will be responsible for:

  • Acting as the lead practitioner for individual clinical trials, providing expert advice and guidance to research teams
  • Maintaining the supply chain of clinical trial medications, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to research nurses
  • Managing financial records and completing drug accountability activities
  • Closing down and archiving completed studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Facilitating meetings with sponsors and research teams

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ Level in Pharmacy Service Skills or BTEC Level Certificate in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Support
  • Extensive experience in the day-to-day management and handling of IMPs
