Care and Support Worker Job Description
Lifeways Specialist Support Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Stafford. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to individuals in our local community.
Job Summary:
We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others and making a difference in people's lives. If you have previous experience in care or support work, we would love to hear from you. Alternatively, if you are new to the role but eager to learn and develop your skills, we welcome your application.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver person-centered care and support to service users
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and meal preparation
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users and their families
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure holistic support
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in care or support work (desirable)
- A passion for helping others and making a difference in people's lives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations
Estimated Salary: £28,500 per annum
