About the Role

The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team. As a member of the Department of Anaesthesia, you will be responsible for providing anaesthetic services to patients at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital and other sites within the trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality anaesthetic care to patients undergoing surgery and other medical procedures
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in the development and implementation of anaesthetic services and policies
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior anaesthetists and other healthcare professionals

Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Registration with the General Medical Council
  • Completion of a specialist anaesthetic training programme
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
