We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Executive to join our team at Mitchell Maguire, a specialist Construction Sales Recruitment Consultancy. As a Technical Sales Executive, you will be responsible for selling a range of timber and building materials to contractors, housebuilders, developers, joinery manufacturers, and trade.
Key Responsibilities- Selling timber and building materials, including hardwoods, softwoods, MDF, cladding, decking, fencing, sleepers, and I-joists
- Generating floor plans for customers via drawings, using the Finnjoist systems
- Providing practical advice to customers and guiding them through the design process
- Assisting the truss designer with truss design
- Dealing with inbound sales enquiries and processing orders
- Making cold calls to generate new business and following up leads and enquiries promptly
- Developing your own ledger and being targeted on sales growth
- Technical experience with timber or sheet materials, ideally I-Joists
