Job Title: Technical Sales Executive - Timber Joists & Building Materials

Mitchell Maguire is seeking a skilled Technical Sales Executive to join our team in Huddersfield. As a Technical Sales Executive, you will be responsible for selling a range of timber and building materials to contractors, housebuilders, developers, and trade.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Selling timber and building materials, including hardwoods, softwoods, MDF, cladding, decking, fencing, sleepers, and I-joists
  • Generating floor plans for customers using the Finnjoist system
  • Providing technical advice and guidance to customers throughout the design process
  • Dealing with inbound sales enquiries via telephone and email
  • Processing orders and making cold calls to generate new business
  • Developing and maintaining a strong ledger of customers
Requirements:
  • Technical experience with timber or sheet materials, ideally I-Joists
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Driven, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Office skills
