We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Premium Wine Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and developing strong relationships with key accounts in the beverage industry.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales across the On and Off trade, with a strong understanding of the wine market and a passion for delivering growth. Based in London, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established English Wine producer who offers exceptional vintages and a truly remarkable business proposition.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the beverage industry.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Implement effective sales and marketing strategies to promote the Wine range.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, distribution, and product development, to ensure customer satisfaction and product excellence.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and budgets for management review.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand your professional network.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in Wine along with a proven track record in sales across the On and Off trade.
  • Be a self-starter who is driven to succeed – a strong connection and network would be preferred.
  • Proven track record in delivering growth in the drinks industry.
  • A customer-oriented approach to account management which aims to exceed expectations.
  • A strong and assertive style to self-management and motivation.
  • Able to negotiate, deliver training and competently explain an alcoholic product range.
  • Must be able to drive.
