About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Deputy Shop Manager to join our team at our Head Office in East Yorkshire. As a Deputy Shop Manager, you will assist in setting up a brand-new shop, ensuring smooth retail activities and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Shop Manager with the day-to-day operation of the shop
  • Manage a team of volunteers, ensuring compliance with all operational, financial and safety standards
  • Support the Shop Manager to maximise income through active stock management, replenishment and rotation
  • Maintain a welcoming, positive work environment for customers and volunteers

About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Experience of managing people and/or volunteers, including recruitment and development
  • Highly organised with good time management skills

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £24,058 per annum (pro rata), enhanced contributory pension scheme, 25 days' annual leave plus Bank Holidays (increasing to 30 days after 5 years' service) (pro rata), flexible working arrangements, private medical insurance, enhanced maternity leave, career progression, learning and development opportunities, and wellbeing initiatives.
