The Role

We are seeking a highly organised retail professional to assist in setting up our brand-new shop in Hull, ensuring smooth retail activities and providing exceptional customer service.

As a Deputy Shop Manager, you will assist the Shop Manager with the day-to-day operation of the shop, manage a team of volunteers, ensure compliance with all operational, financial and safety standards, and support the delivery of the highest standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Shop Manager with the day-to-day operation of the shop
  • Manage a team of volunteers
  • Ensure compliance with all operational, financial and safety standards
  • Support the delivery of the highest standards of customer service
  • Support the Shop Manager to maximise income through active stock management, replenishment and rotation
About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Experience of managing people and/or volunteers, including recruitment and development
  • To be highly organised with good time management skills
