About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Safety Advisor to join our team at Gloucestershire County Council. As a Community Safety Advisor, you will play a key role in improving outcomes for vulnerable communities in Gloucestershire by delivering fire safety equipment and providing advice where necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Arrange and deliver Safe and Well visits to residents in their own homes to provide fire safety equipment and advice.
  • Provide early intervention and prevention activities on health and wellbeing priorities, positively contributing to the development and delivery of these services.
  • Work closely with partners to deliver community safety initiatives and promote fire safety awareness.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community groups, local authorities, and emergency services.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of community safety-related issues and be able to deliver our fire safety message effectively. You will also need to be able to work independently, be self-motivated, and have excellent attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Understanding of partnership working and community safety legislation.
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding processes and procedures.
  • Full UK driving license.
