About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Safety Advisor to join our team at Gloucestershire County Council. As a Community Safety Advisor, you will play a key role in improving outcomes for vulnerable communities and reducing the risk of fire-related incidents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Safe and Well visits to residents in their own homes to provide fire safety equipment and advice.
  • Provide early intervention and prevention activities on health and wellbeing priorities.
  • Work closely with partners to develop and deliver community safety initiatives.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
Requirements
  • Understanding of community safety-related issues and legislation.
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding processes and procedures.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
