We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at The Highwayman in Kirkby Lonsdale. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our busy pub, welcoming and looking after customers, training and leading our bar/waiting team, managing services, and running special events.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the pub, including staff supervision and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Train and develop the skills of our bar/waiting team to ensure excellent customer service.
- Manage the pub's finances, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Work closely with the General Manager to achieve business objectives.
