Role Overview

As we expand our sales team in the EMEA region, we are in search of a driven Sales VP with a strong focus on acquiring new business in the middle market. This position does not involve managing an existing client portfolio; instead, you will be tasked with establishing relationships with new DSPs, agencies, and brand partners by promoting our managed services, programmatic solutions, creative offerings, and programmatic curation.

Your contribution will be crucial in our growth as we continue to establish our presence in the EMEA market. You will assist in refining our messaging, materials, and offerings to align with client requirements in the Connected TV (CTV) sector. Your efforts will be aimed at maximizing revenue opportunities while ensuring that our partners receive valuable services from our team.

This role will adapt continuously, reflecting the dynamic nature of programmatic advertising. You will have the opportunity to attend various local and national events and conferences to stay updated on industry trends. Your innovative approach will be essential in serving our brand and agency partners, allowing you to infuse your personal style into these relationships.

What You'll Do

Build a robust and strategic pipeline of DSPs, agency, and brand accounts, demonstrating consistent and accurate forecasting when presenting new business opportunities to executive leadership.

  • Engage in impactful meetings with prospects and clients, developing a deep understanding of their business needs.
  • Maintain thorough records and documentation, arriving prepared for meetings with sales updates.
  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to prospects and clients, fostering relationships throughout their organizations.
  • Craft effective strategies and proposals, collaborating closely with internal teams, and adapting sales approaches to meet changing market demands.
  • As a startup, you will need to conceptualize, create, and deliver your proposals, with account management support being critical in the initial year.
  • Work collaboratively with analysis and operations teams to enhance support for prospective clients.

What You'll Bring

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Ad Tech/Programmatic sales, with a focus on CTV.
  • A well-established network of contacts within Hold Co and Independent agencies, along with strong ideas for immediate revenue impact.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; an advanced degree (Masters or MBA) is preferred.
  • A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding new business and revenue targets.
  • Experience achieving $5m+ in annual revenue targets.
  • In-depth knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem, programmatic technology, and a comprehensive understanding of the Connected TV landscape, demonstrating technical expertise in the programmatic supply chain.
