Key Responsibilities
  • Research and document business processes, creating reports with recommendations for management to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Develop and validate business needs, producing functional and non-functional requirements and supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to endorse business requirements, focusing on delivery, collaboration, and tactical and strategic goals.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise current business capabilities and processes, driving efficiencies and innovation.
  • Lead projects throughout the full lifecycle, from defining business needs to delivering solutions that meet expectations.
  • Support implementation and quality assurance activities to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  • Analyse business structure to determine its objectives and operations.
  • Advocate for change and bring best practices in business analysis to progress the team's continual improvement.
Candidate Profile
  • A solid understanding of the insurance/reinsurance industry.
  • Demonstrable experience as a high-performing Business Analyst.
  • Effective communication with internal stakeholders, understanding their needs.
  • Strong ability to analyse business needs and translate into business user requirements.
  • Skilled at performing business process and gap analysis, identifying opportunities for process optimisation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with experience of working to tight/changing deadlines.
  • Delivery and detail-focused when implementing changes to support business requirements.
  • A 'can-do' attitude, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
