We are seeking an exceptional Deputy Head Teacher to join our team at a brilliant and rapidly-growing independent special school. As a school leader, you will oversee the curriculum, ensuring a dynamic and engaging learning experience for our students. Your expertise in curriculum development and safeguarding practices will be crucial in guiding the school towards achieving outstanding criteria.
The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status, experience working with special educational needs, and a strong knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice. You will be responsible for maintaining effective safeguarding practices and inspiring confidence in students and staff. If you have a passion for making a real difference in the lives of young people, we encourage you to apply.
- Take responsibility for overseeing the curriculum, including intent, implementation, and impact.
- Design and deliver a dynamic and engaging curriculum aligned with therapeutic principles.
- Collaborate with the head teacher and other senior leaders to achieve outstanding criteria.
- Maintain effective safeguarding practices for every student.
- Inspire confidence and serve as a role model for students and staff.
