Business Development Manager

Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Account Executive to join our team at Nashrock Insurance Recruitment.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a pipeline of new business opportunities, providing expert advice on quotations and coverage options, expanding and optimizing clients' coverage, collaborating with the broking and support teams, negotiating with underwriters, managing cases in a compliant and timely manner, meeting income and retention targets, and supporting colleagues and achieving business objectives with the management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining a pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Providing expert advice on quotations and coverage options.
- Expanding and optimizing clients' coverage.
- Collaborating with the broking and support teams.
- Negotiating with underwriters.
- Managing cases in a compliant and timely manner.
- Meeting income and retention targets.
- Supporting colleagues and achieving business objectives with the management team.
About You:
We are looking for a candidate with a background in commercial insurance, seeking a long-term role with growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, negotiation, influencing, sales, stakeholder management, delegation, and IT skills, a client-focused mindset, confident in engaging stakeholders at all levels, and a valid driving license.
