Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Engineer / Senior Engineer to join our Property Risk Control Team within Risk Control Services (RCS). As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in developing deep relationships and delivering exceptional service and solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review client sites and operations to identify and assess risks to assets and revenues
  • Produce property damage and business interruption (PD/BI) reports, account overviews, and executive summaries to clients and internal teams
  • Build close relationships with client-facing colleagues and work closely with account teams, producers, and clients to realise opportunities to support existing clients and new business
  • Develop and innovate our Risk Engineering/Consulting approach, staying up-to-date with developments in standards, emerging risks, and technological solutions
  • Support the development and mentoring of colleagues in adopting a consultancy-based and risk partnering approach

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in delivering technical property risk consulting projects and reports, ideally within a commercial insurance and/or broking environment
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of delivering projects relating to property risk control/fire protection standards and insurer requirements
  • The ability to lead and support the delivery of client projects in these areas and work with others across the team
  • Detailed knowledge of Property Risk Control standards and Fire Protection Standards (e.g., LPC, NFPA & FM Global)
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to lead projects to conclusion
  • Autonomous identification of key tasks for a project without a formulaic model or plan
