NSF is a leading organization in the field of food safety and auditing. We are currently seeking an experienced Retail Auditor to join our team in the Swindon area. This is a self-employed position that requires individuals with strong audit skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough food safety inspections at various retail sites, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement effective work plans to complete assigned inspections within specific timeframes, utilizing expertise in all disciplines (Food, H&S, Fire).
  • Communicate findings and results effectively to client site management or designated representatives, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Promote a culture of excellence by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including audit delivery and client teams.
Requirements
  • Minimum Level 4 Health & Safety and Level 4 Food Safety qualifications are non-negotiable.
  • A degree in Environmental Health or similar would be highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform audits across multiple disciplines (Food, H&S, Fire) and/or train safety advisors is essential.
  • Registration with CIEH or IOSH is beneficial.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with full UK driving licensure, are necessary for this role.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and occasional evening/weekend work may be required.
Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum
