We are excited to offer the role of Food Safety and Health Inspector, operating in Lancashire. As an ideal candidate, you should have a strong foundation in environmental health principles and a passion for delivering high-quality audits.



  • Undertake comprehensive food safety inspections at client sites, ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Design and deliver tailored coaching and training programs for clients
  • Evaluate and report on inspection findings, highlighting areas for improvement
  • Foster strong relationships with client site management and provide expert advice
  • Manage the collection and shipping of samples from client sites to laboratories for analysis
  • Develop and implement effective work plans for inspections, meeting deadlines and quality standards
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless collaboration

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold minimum Level 4 Health & Safety and Level 4 Food Safety qualifications
  • Desirable: Environmental Health Degree or equivalent
  • Able to conduct audits across multiple disciplines (Food, H&S, Fire) or train safety professionals
  • CIEH or IOSH registration beneficial
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Full UK driving license required for travel
  • Ability to work independently and manage own audit schedule
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

The estimated annual salary for this position is £38,000 - £45,000.
