Medical Liaison Specialist

About the RoleOxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a leading teaching hospital seeking an experienced psychiatrist to fill a Medical Liaison Specialist position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult and old age psychiatry, with significant experience working in medical settings.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing integrated input for inpatients, running standalone psychiatry outpatient clinics, joint outpatient clinics with obstetricians, supervising mental health midwives, and involvement in various maternity MDTs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes
- Maintain high-quality standards of care through regular audits and quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals and objectives
