Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Team Leader to join our team at The Barn at River Hamble Country Park. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a modern, eco-friendly space serving good mood food and the best flat whites.

You will have a successful track record in the hospitality industry with great customer service skills as well as a basic understanding of budgeting, rotas, ordering, record keeping and stock control. Team leader experience is an advantage but not essential.

You will have a keen eye for detail and immaculate personal presentation. You will be highly organised and have excellent communication skills, putting the customer at the heart of everything you do. You will have the ability to cope in a busy environment, work well under pressure, and deal calmly with unexpected situations.

This role is full-time (37 hours) covering a seven-day operation, mainly daytime hours, with Sunday and Bank Holiday working paid at an enhanced rate. Additional seasonal overtime hours will also be available.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of front of house staff to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Manage budgets, rotas, ordering, record keeping and stock control
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage with customers and colleagues
  • Cope with a busy environment, work well under pressure and deal calmly with unexpected situations
Requirements:

We are looking for someone with a successful track record in the hospitality industry, excellent customer service skills and a basic understanding of budgeting, rotas, ordering, record keeping and stock control. Team leader experience is an advantage but not essential.
