Agility Resourcing - Experienced Payroll Assistant

Overview

A leading Distribution Company in the North West is seeking a skilled Payroll Assistant to join their team. This role involves processing weekly and monthly payrolls from start to finish, ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing weekly and monthly payrolls, including leavers and holiday pay, contractor/sub-contractor payments, and calculating payroll and running payslips.
  • Checking payslips and running relevant reports, as well as completing payroll journals and monthly reconciliations.
  • Providing cover for other payrolls, preparing depot staff costs budgets, and processing holiday forms and payroll amendments.
  • Scanning and attaching documents into the payroll system and assisting with processing pensions for the group.
Requirements:
  • Experience in payroll processing, preferably with QBE or AAT qualifications.
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel, with excellent computer literacy skills.
