About the Role

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team. As a key member of our Anaesthetic Directorate, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic services to patients across our health board sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake elective theatre lists and provide 24-hour cover for emergency surgery, trauma, and obstetrics
  • Work closely with the cardiac arrest team and emergency department at the Grange University Hospital
  • Contribute to the development of our anaesthetic services and participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements

  • Full registration and a licence to practice with the GMC
  • On the GMC Specialist Register (including via CESR/European Community Rights) or will have a CCT/CESR(CP) date within 6 months of interview
  • Enhanced check with barred list information, including adults and children's barred list check
