Are you passionate about animal conservation and welfare? Do you want to gain valuable experience in a zoological setting? We invite applications for the role of Conservation Assistant at Golders Hill Park Zoo.

Salary: £18,000 - £23,000 per annum

In this 24-month apprenticeship program, you will work closely with experienced zoo staff to contribute to the conservation of exotic and domestic species. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with daily animal care tasks, such as feeding, cleaning, and maintaining enclosures.
  • Participating in conservation projects and developing your skills in animal management and welfare.

Please note that applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this apprenticeship:

  • Be at least 16 years old by the end of the summer holidays.
  • Reside in England.
  • Not be in full-time education at the time of application.
