Senior Shipping Lawyer Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled Shipping/Commodities lawyer to join our team in London. As a key member of our legal department, you will be responsible for advising on a wide range of shipping and commodities-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Negotiation and Drafting: You will be responsible for drafting and negotiating various contracts, including general terms and conditions, supply agreements, and cargo sale/purchase contracts.
  • Vessel Ownership and Management: You will advise on vessel ownership issues, such as fleet insurance renewals, vessel registrations, ship management agreements, and crewing issues.
  • Regulatory Compliance: You will stay up-to-date with regulatory developments in shipping and marine energy, providing expert advice to our clients.
  • Commercial Dispute Resolution: You will advise on and resolve significant claims and commercial disputes related to shipping and commodities.
  • External Counsel Management: You will instruct and manage external counsel as needed.
