Senior Event Manager

At Total Management Group, we are seeking an experienced Senior Event Manager to join our fast-growing event division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the successful project delivery of events across our key accounts, taking accountability of everything from product sourcing and distribution through to completion.
This is an opportunity to grow in a hands-on, multifaceted role, working on event briefs, client proposals, and merchandise requests for leading brands and industry names. You will enhance our client and customer experience by working creatively, proactively, and thinking outside the box.
Key responsibilities include managing large-scale budgets, working with complex financials across multiple currencies, and developing relationships with clients and suppliers. You will also be required to work collaboratively with the team and other departments to deliver seamless, top-quality events solutions.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in event management and strong project management skills
- Creating detailed proposals and event briefs, client pitching
- Experience sourcing and communicating with suppliers globally
- Solid understanding of global venues and excellent research skills
- Good understanding of AV and production
- Experience with RFPs
- Confident managing large-scale budgets and event forecasts in multiple currencies
- Demonstrate outstanding time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to anticipate needs, prioritize, and work to tight deadlines
- Willingness to take initiative and adapt a 'can-do' and flexible attitude
- A creative and organized mindset
- Delivering a great customer experience and maintaining an above-and-beyond attitude
- Able to work collaboratively with the team and other departments and supporting divisional directors
- Line management experience, managing teams both on and off projects while managing own events and clients
- Supporting company business development, including identifying target clients, outreach, pitching, and closing
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in other languages is a bonus
- Proven experience with IT programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Salesforce, and PowerPoint
