Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team as a Business Development Manager for Fire Door Inspections, Maintenance and Installations. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of field sales experience in the doors, joinery industry and fire stopping, with a proven track record of selling into end users, main contractors and surveyors.


Responsibilities and Expectations
  1. Selling fire door inspections, maintenance and installations to key stakeholders
  2. Developing new business partnerships with surveyors, main contractors and local authorities
  3. Focusing on framework partnerships with dedicated contractors working on student accommodation projects

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of field sales experience in the doors, joinery industry and fire stopping
  • A proven track record of selling into end users, main contractors and surveyors
  • New business hunting skills to generate and engage with business partners
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to execute an effective sales strategy

Compensation and Benefits Package

This is a highly competitive role offering a salary range of £45,000-£50,000 + uncapped commission up to £15,000 per annum, plus a £400 per month car allowance and benefits package.
