About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Pertemps Newcastle. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students who have faced challenges in mainstream education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead small group activities to help students stay on task and complete assigned activities.
  • Support individual students with special educational needs (SEN), providing tailored assistance that meets their specific learning requirements.
  • Help to manage classroom behaviour, working alongside the teacher to address behavioural and emotional needs.
