About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our Maintenance Team at Cotswold Farm Park. This is a great opportunity to work in a busy, customer-facing environment and be part of a small and friendly team.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of all reactive and planned maintenance requirements within the Cotswold Farm Park and wider areas as required. This may include basic plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, ground care, and generic handy person tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on groundcare and mowing schedule, including mowing, strimming, leaf clearing, weeding, and spraying.
  • Assist with machinery maintenance.
  • Lead and supervise a team responsible for daily reactive maintenance duties, groundcare, and event build and break.
  • Ensure safe operation of equipment and use of appropriate PPE as required.
  • Undertake a wide range of preventative and reactive maintenance tasks.
  • Undertake maintenance tasks including basic painting, plumbing, play equipment repairs, carpentry, doors, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Build and deconstruct temporary event or activity facilities, including horse fun rides.
  • Assist with event delivery, which can include set up, stewarding, and break down.
  • Carry out routine inspections and checks as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
  • Assist with maintenance work on the wider Farm and Estate as required.
  • Ensure work spaces are kept clean, clear, and free of obstruction.
  • Take reasonable care of items of equipment used to carry out tasks, including general cleanliness and advising on faults and any need for maintenance or replacement goods.
  • Experience completing PPM (planned preventative maintenance) works.
  • Understand personal responsibilities in relation to the Health & Safety at Work legislation and demonstrate a working knowledge of COSHH assessment applicable in own work area.
  • Continuously monitor workloads and organise as necessary.

Personal Profile

We are looking for a candidate with a can-do attitude, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to organise and prioritise well. The successful candidate will also have team leadership skills, be able to motivate and develop others, and have a flexible approach to problem resolution.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Building Maintenance, Reactive & Planned Maintenance.
  • Experience in using Microsoft and CAFM software packages.
  • Experience in Ground care & Generic Handy Person tasks.
  • Good working knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation.
  • Driving License.

Preferred Skills

  • Apprenticeship qualified in an area of expertise e.g., plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, electrical.
  • Experience in leading/supervising a small team.

Working Arrangements

The role will be based at Cotswold Farm Park and will involve working 5 days per week, 42.5 hours per week, including weekends on a rota basis.
