Job Title: Dental Staff Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Staff Nurse to join our team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our dental department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering excellent clinical services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical support and assistance to dentists and dental students
  • Prepare and maintain dental units, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and infection control
  • Monitor patient physical signs prior, during, and post-treatment
  • Assist with the teaching of undergraduate dental students and dental nursing apprentices
  • Participate in oral health promotions and provide advice to patients
Requirements:
  • Registered dental nurse with NEBDN certificate or NVQ level 3 in oral health
  • Experience of working in a dental department and providing chairside assistance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
