About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Advance. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs to live the lives they choose.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene, including medication administration as required
  • Support with preparing and cooking meals, as well as attending medical appointments
  • Engage in social activities and support independent skills, such as domestic duties and cleaning
  • Keep accurate records and update care plans as required
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent record-keeping and administrative skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
  • Willingness to complete the Care Certificate and achieve industry-recognised qualifications
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
