We are seeking a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant SEN school in Portsmouth.

As a learning support assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students with their learning and development. Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Providing individualized support to students with special educational needs, particularly those with autism and/or social and emotional needs
  • Implementing behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and reduce challenging behavior
  • Working effectively as part of a team to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicating effectively with parents and other professionals to ensure consistency and continuity of support
  • Adapting and being flexible in a fast-paced and changing environment
