Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in a special needs school. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEN in a 1-1 or small group setting
  • Assist the class teacher with lesson planning and delivery
  • Work collaboratively with other support staff to create a positive and engaging learning atmosphere
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of the students' needs and abilities

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children and/or adults with learning difficulties
  • Good understanding of Special Educational Needs and willingness to learn
  • Ability to engage pupils in their learning and support their social, emotional, and personal wellbeing
  • Right to work in the UK and up-to-date DBS registration
