Job Title: Planning Manager

We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join our team at Owen Daniels. As a key member of our Operations Leadership Team, you will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team and driving business growth through effective planning and execution.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a 6-month and 6-week sales plan, working closely with Purchasing, Customer Services, and Operations teams.
  • Implement and manage a Master Production Schedule, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Support SIOP requirements, collaborating with senior leadership to achieve key business sales targets.
  • Level load the executable sales plan within the MRP system, ensuring daily planning activities meet service level expectations.
  • Focus on On-Time Delivery (OTD) with Operations, driving customer OTD improvements.
  • Develop and mentor planning team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Support ERP projects, driving business optimization and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading a team of 5+ members.
  • Ability to lead and execute SIOP, with a strong understanding of MRP parameters and functionality.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to forecast and anticipate production needs and capabilities.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
  • High competency level in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience with works order control and traceability.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence business activity.

Working Hours:

Monday – Thursday 8am – 4.30pm, Friday 8am – 1.30pm
