About the Role:

University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated and experienced nurse to lead our Children's Epilepsy Service as a Band 7 nurse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead an established team of clinical nurse specialists in the Children's Epilepsy Service.
  • Work closely with our Children's Epilepsy Surgery Service to provide a holistic package of support to children and families with Epilepsy.
  • Develop, strengthen, and lead our Epilepsy team to provide a robust service to children and families both in hospital and in the local community.

This is an exciting opportunity for a caring, dynamic, reliable and committed nurse with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to join and help lead the Children's Epilepsy Nurse Team.

  • You will work closely with our team to ensure that children receive a seamless, quality service.
  • You will be responsible for providing specialist nursing advice and support to patients and families, in-patient and out-patient, throughout their care pathway.
  • You will utilise skills of clinical expertise, leadership, education, and management to ensure a seamless service for patients, carers, and staff.
