About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fabrication Manager to join our team at Recra Consulting. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our fabrication department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Departmental Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to a team of skilled fabricators, ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency.
  • Production Planning: Plan, organize, and schedule production tasks to meet project deadlines and customer requirements.
  • Quality Control: Oversee the fabrication process from start to finish, ensuring that quality standards are met and exceeded.
  • Process Improvement: Monitor and optimize workflow, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance overall productivity.
  • Team Management: Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide training and development opportunities, and foster a positive and inclusive team culture.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as engineering and procurement, to ensure smooth coordination and execution of projects.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and control fabrication costs, utilizing resources efficiently to meet budget targets.
  • Waste Reduction: Identify and implement measures to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance overall productivity.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Fabrication Manager or similar role in the manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of fabrication processes, equipment, and materials.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in reading technical drawings and interpreting specifications.
  • Quality Control: Familiarity with quality control principles and ISO standards.
  • Results-Oriented: Proven track record of meeting production targets and delivering high-quality results.
