Senior HR Compliance and Governance Manager

Job Summary:

Network HR is seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Compliance and Governance Manager to join a global financial services firm in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the firm's HR operations, policies, and processes are compliant with local regulations and global standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with HR leaders and Business Managers to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide expert advice on HR compliance and governance to ensure the firm's HR operations are aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the development and implementation of HR governance frameworks and risk management strategies.
  • Work closely with the Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Audit teams to ensure HR policies and procedures are aligned with global standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including HR leaders, Business Managers, and external partners.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical expertise in HR compliance and governance, including data privacy, regulatory requirements, and employment law.
  • Deep understanding of UK employment law, financial regulations, and FCA regulations, including SMCR, IFPR, and MIFID.
  • Ability to provide business-focused advice and support HR teams in reviewing their practices to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Strong risk awareness and ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of HR operations and governance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
