Job Title: Payroll Compliance Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Compliance Specialist to join our team at Parkdean Resorts UK Limited. As a key member of our People Shared Services Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of UK payroll compliance and delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Reconciliations: Ensure all payroll reconciliations are accurate and complete, investigating and escalating any discrepancies as necessary.
- Pension Scheme Compliance: Adhere to legislation and regulations, ensuring accurate submissions to pension providers.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, serving as the key point of contact for the payroll team.
- Legislative Compliance: Ensure awareness and compliance with National Minimum & Living Wage and Working Time Directive.
- Third Party Payments: Prepare and submit payment and data to providers, gaining appropriate sign-off.
- Payroll Legislation: Maintain and share up-to-date knowledge of relevant payroll legislation.
- Team Support: Provide day-to-day support to the team and deputise for the People Shared Services Manager as required.
- Payroll Processing: Support the timely and accurate processing of the weekly and monthly payroll.
- HRMS System Maintenance: Ensure accurate maintenance of the HRMS system and data in line with GDPR.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements, working with the People Shared Services Manager to train team members.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Qualified CIPP or qualified by payroll compliance experience.
- Payroll Legislation: Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, including NMW, HMRC, and Pension legislation.
- Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Planning and Organisation: Strong planning, time management, and organisational skills.
- System Implementation: System implementation/system configuration experience is preferred but not essential.
