We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team at Valeco Recruitment Ltd.
This is a dynamic role that involves a variety of tasks, including:
- Financial Transaction Processing: Verify and process invoices, purchase orders, and supplier statements in a timely and accurate manner.
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
- Supplier Liaison: Communicate with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoices or payments.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a similar finance role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to accurately process and analyze financial data.
- Proficiency in financial software, including Excel, Outlook, and Sage (training provided on our systems).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
