Key Responsibilities- Deliver patient-centered, caring therapy services to patients at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust Hospital.
- Be professionally responsible for all aspects of your work, including the therapeutic management of patients in your care, in conjunction with your supervisor.
- Use your occupational therapy knowledge and skills to provide support and advice to the multidisciplinary team and manage your own caseload of patients as an autonomous practitioner.
- Deliver a high-quality, effective, and efficient occupational therapy service in the therapy team.
- Contribute to service development as a member of the therapy department team.
- Deputise for the Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist as required.

Requirements- A degree or other recognized qualification in occupational therapy.
- HCPC registration.
- IT skills, including email.
- Desirable qualifications and experience include a BSc OT, membership of the British Association of Occupational Therapists, and training and presentation skills.
We offer a comprehensive support package for band 5s, including a band 5 passport, workshops, and training sessions, as well as an OT-specific practice educator on site. We also have a strong band 5 support group and regular in-service sessions.
