Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our rotational team at the Royal Berkshire Hospital. This rotational post is ideal for new graduates and experienced band 5s looking to broaden their knowledge in various specialties.

Main Duties
  • Deliver patient-centered, caring therapy services as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Be professionally responsible for all aspects of your work, including therapeutic management of patients and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Use your occupational therapy knowledge and skills to provide support and advice to the team and manage your own caseload as an autonomous practitioner.
  • Contribute to service development and deliver a high-quality, effective, and efficient occupational therapy service.
  • Deputise for the Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist as required.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Hold a degree or recognized qualification in occupational therapy.
  • Be HCPC registered.
  • Have IT skills, including email.

Desirable

  • Hold a BSc in occupational therapy.
  • Be a member of the British Association of Occupational Therapists.
  • Have training and presentation skills.

Experience

  • Have experience working in a healthcare setting.
  • Have experience in at least three different areas of occupational therapy practice.
